HOW TO BECOME A LICENSED CODE FOR SUSTAINABLE HOMES ASSESSOR

The Code For Sustainable Homes Assessor Training Course

The first step to becoming a Code Assessor is to attend a three day Code Assessor training course.

The Code Assessor training consists of lectures and workshop exercises to help familiarise yourself with the Code for Sustainable Homes Technical Guidance.

The cost for attending a two day assessor training course is £1250 (+vat). Details of course dates can be found on the Training and Events page.

The Code For Sustainable Homes Examination Process

To become a Licensed Code assessor you will be required to return to BRE for a fourth day and successfully pass two examinations. On this fourth day of training our team will also provide additional tutoring and workshops.

The examination fee is £350 (+VAT) if booked at the same time as the Code Assessor training course or £450 (+VAT) if booked separately. Details of course dates can be found on the Training and Events page.

Obtaining A BREEAM Licence

Once you have passed your examination, you will be eligible to apply for a Code Licence.

The cost of the Code Licence is £375 (+vat) per annum per assessor.
